    It's sub base game with a cash shop with cosmetics only. The devs have said no to P2W features of any kind.

    I feel just the same way! When I looked at the KS packages, I was very impressed that not even there, did they try to incentivize with any real type of advantage. This is pretty neat and they look serious about NO P2W. :)

    Part of the reason Steven set out to make this game was because he despises pay to win design in mmos.

    Another selling point: the 2 day head start some backers get will have the node system locked. No villages or anything on official release. We'll just be wandering about aimlessly for those 48 hours by the sounds of it :p
