Gods and their influence on Players

Does anyone else hope that the in game Gods will influence the story created by Players. For instance if there are 2 divine Metropolis' and the patron Gods of each hate each other their will be a quest to choose sides and go to war?

    Players my choose to fight other nodes if they feel they are devoted to the wrong god.

    Yep! Religion class will be yet another way to create some good, meaningful conflict. :)

    Are there any interviews where there has been mention of gods? By in-game do you mean these are played by developers or that they are merely scripted actors in the game?
