Since we now know the "Races" and their brief backstory, who are you going to be?

    Still in doubt what class I'm going to take, rogue or ranger. Depending on that I can look for the proper 'race-skills'. Any1 has an idea what those actualy are?

    Well.
    The races will impact how your class is played.
    So I honestly am waiting for more information on it.

    I like the Py'rai, but I'm open to most things. I've never been a fan of the humans but it depends on looks and perks of that class.
    But if I had my way, I'd be an elf.

    I'm going to decide day of most likely. I have the way I like to play and will likely figure out exactly what I want as the game starts. But it's entirely possible I'll fail at that and reroll something better.

    Dwarf for tank
    Dwarf for dps
    Dwarf for healer (we can throw and apply bandages better than anyone!)
    Dwarf for crowd control (those ales man)

    I will probably decide once I see the races, how they look and maybe somewhat of their backstory. I doubt I will choose based on stats alone, I will probably not choose based on race history either since the history of the race won't affect my character at least not from an RP standpoint at least.

    Voted Vaelune Because it adheres to my Philosophy. But it's too soon to decide tbh We Know hardly anything about any of those races.

    I choose the Empyrean, mostly because the back story sounds like something I can build my character's motives out of (cause thats always important!) but from the sound of it, they are going to have some amazing fashion items! lol

    Actually leaning toward an orcish type if it's viable with the Rogue pursuits. But know knows, I'll know more when it gets here.

    P.S. Gemiichan - I think he means he doesn't click third party links out of fear of viruses. Nor do I to be honest. He wasn't meaning that you can't use links if you want to.

    ^^^^^^^ This. I expect my main will be a ranger and so will have best synergy with elves. prob Py'rai.
    This is of course all speculation, if humans make better rangers then I will go with that.

    Im going to assume you meant *alcoholic, to which my response would still be the same...that isn't one of the 8 races listed on the KS but cheers to that! lol

    Nikua .... Farmer, Fisher, or Breeder. Cleric primary then Cleric, Ranger or Bard secondary. Best.

    I chose Vek. I like that they're orc, as well as obsessed with the heavens. Kind of wish the game had a race of lizardmen or something tho.

    I am also questioning whether to be Cleric/Bard, or Bard/Cleric. I think I'll most likely be bard primary, but we'll see how it goes.

    Since we know that race will impact stats, which impact class, I am waiting to decide on a class. I am going to play Nikua, because I resonate well with their brief description and I love the idea of a non-traditional dwarf making his way through the world exploring the lands and himself. :)

    Yes, what she said. Altoholic is a real thing. That means you play many alternate characters in games. There are many ways to experience a game and alts provide that capability. I can't say what I will specifically be as I don't know yet. I will end up making one of each race, at least, and one of each class, at least. In City of Heroes, I probably had a total of 75 characters, maybe 100. In LOTRO I have about 30. In ESO I have 8. In RIFT I have about 20. And so on.

    I'm not an alcoholic though, they go to meetings. I'm an altoholic, I play MMOs with a variety of characters and perspectives and if I get bored, I make another alt. If something new comes out, I make an alt. If I'm gone for a long time (6+ months) I make an alt.

    I'm an altoholic. We are Many, We are I.
