Secondary class, swapping or not ?
I've read on Discord that secondary class swapping is still in discussion.
I am not totally for that option. I know that secondary class don't give you a new skill line and "only" affect your primary archetype but I like the idea of choosing a path.
By example, for me , a paladin (tank + cleric) can not become a a sneaky tank (or whatever is tank + rogue).
Of course, it can be only my own decision to not change and let other player do what they want, but I still think it's not really lore friendly.
So a way to choose the good path could be a temporary testing.
Imagine you are ready to go further in your class ascension, you go to find a master in order to learn a new class but before that this master "bewitch" you temporarily to see your close future (only few skills to test during one hour or something like that).
What do think about it ?

That's not what I read, maybe it changed since...
My source is in Discord #intrepid_answers ( https://discordapp.com/channels/256164085366915072/280894522127548417 ) on may the 3rd :

-can i augment my main class with the same archetype like a summoner/summoner and if the secondary class freely available to swap or are you locked into it?
+You can choose the same archetype for your primary and secondary yes. It will enhance your focus in that class. We are still discussing secondary class swaping

Can you give me your fresher news link please ?
If anything, can we have class progression not tied to level progression? This way, if you decide as a player to change your secondary class, you lose all previous progression (if there are any).

In one of the last kickstarter interview videos.
The nature of primary classes was discussed.
Unfortunately I can not give you the time or the video
Sorry.

Hmm, I'd be super surprised if primary class switching is allowed... that can't be what they meant?
I took it as still discussing the methods for allowing secondary swapping.
As always, I could be wrong!

Oh thanks ! :)
As for the secondary class, I'm all for being able to switch that. Now, having it be a one click thing out in middle of nowhere, no. For a quest or fee from a person in your freehold or city, sure. And don't lose progression on this, because that is a lot of man hours that you invested. On top of it changes flavor of class. If a tank knows he has to go to do this dungeon and its more magic damage, than he should be able to switch to a magic subclass so he can magic tank so that dungeon becomes easier for them vs nonmagic damage and makes it very hard to complete. This is a big reason changing subclass whenever (presets!) makes it viable in my opinion, but its situational aspect vs playstyle.
He mentioned religion and being able to switch this, but going to 0 on it. I would like to think that you forsake your religion, well, they will be not forgiving and you have to work to get that faith back.
I don't know if this has been answered, but are all secondary skills able to be put on your main class skills or is it specific secondary skills per main class skill? Example is Rush has teleport, but you can also put on fireball or frostbolt or randommageskill#28 instead of teleport.....or is it specific in that you can only have teleport and fireball(i'm thinking trial of flames on ground or more explosive hit) but not frostbolt or randomskill#28.
