Phase I of Alpha Two testing will occur on weekends. Each weekend is scheduled to start on Fridays at 10 AM PT and end on Sundays at 10 PM PT. Find out more here.

Hi! I am new here and I am VERY impressed with AoC so far. I am very interested in finding out everything about it. So I would like to know, if there's anyone who knows how they've started out. Like at which forums were they present, who was writing about them etc.

    Well, long story short, the creative director, Steven Sharif was playing Archeage pre-release but then the game folded and took a nasty turn when Trion took over the development of it. So instead of constantly looking for the perfect mmorpg, he decided to make the game himself. He made Intrepid studios and brought in as much high-end talent as he could to make it.
