Name Reservation?

Hi there! Just wondering if it will be possible to reserve an avatar's first name and/or family name with a game package, and if so, which game package? Thanks.

    It looks like name reservation starts at the $100 kickstarter package. I dont know about family name but definately avatar name.

    What name is being reserved? First name (only name) or will there be Family names and that is being reserved?

    Oi, folks,

    I have no official information to back it up, but I believe multiple people will be able to have the same surname.

    I only think this because it would make sense, and be in line with many other MMOs.
    What if I'm making characters with my siblings? We're for sure going to want the same surname!

    My thoughts, anyways.

    To be able to mix names like that, Hartanna, we'd need to have unique firstnames.

    It's a possibility. If I call myself Bob, I'm the only Bob. If you call yourself Jeff, you're the only Jeff. But we can both be Smiths, Bob Smith and Jeff Smith.

    So it might work out that way, but there are other ways names can be done in MMOs too.

    Most games I've played it's just the first name that is unique. In BDO it was the last name that was unique. So if I know which name or combo of names I need to be thinking on I could be making a list.

    Intrepid has made no announcement yet on when those who have name reservations will be used.

    Yep. $100 start but realise that name reservation will be linked to pledge amount, so someone who paid $1000 will get first choice before someone who backed with $100.

    Well I will be awaiting that email. Can't have anyone taking my PC's last name >.> It's not exactly uncommon.
