I'm not sure if this has being talked about before, but I think it's important to mention it.
Recently I've been playing BDO again, which I find a pretty good game, but has a fatal flaw affecting new player and, as I found out, returning payers too (or at least, me), and it is the overwhelming amount of information shown to you from the beggining of the game, with dozens of menus and options showing up, messages popping up... After a few days of readaptation, I manage to get back on track, but I just introduced a few friends and they got lost immediately.
The most interesting thing about all of this, is that none of those menus and messages actually help the players in any way to understand what is happening.
My point is, even when most of those functions showing up are important, to have them appearing from the beggining with no introduction to it, it's pretty much useless and counterproductive. It would be better to just add this functions step by step, or at least, having them hidden untill you learn how to use them, or activate them yourself.

I sure hope this game won't treat us like children by holding our hands and showing us every little detail. Let us work things out on our own.
