Weapons, Weapon Types and More
So with some parts of the game still being up in the air I figured I would tackle weapons as it is an important part of the game for not only fighting but crafting as well.
Speaking with some people on the discord we worked together on a small list of desired weaponry.

Maces/Hammers (1h/2h/dw)
Staff(2h)
Shields (offhand)
Bows(2h Ranged)
[Potentially Awesome Weapon Candidates]
Spears(1h/2h)
Scythes(2h)
Scepter(1h)
Wand(1h/ ranged)
Crossbows(2h Ranged)
Focus/Orb/Book (Offhand)
Kamas(1h/dw)
Flails(1h/2h/dw)
Javelin(1h/ranged)

Another point of topic is that of weapon damage types - such as; [Blunt] for hammers maces fists etc, [Piercing] for spears, rapier swords, bows etc and [Slashing] for swords, scythes, axes, etc.
What kind of system will there be for such a thing and what would make it as awesome as possible.
If you think of an awesome addition I'll add it to the list, or any other related discussion towards this would be appreciated! Any references to other sources would also be cool to add. Keep in mind this list is just of desired weapons not of weapons that will be in the final product of the game but we can voice our opinions now for what we would like to see.

You just made me shed a dwarven tear.
Not just for including both 1 handed and 2 handed hammers (as I always wish there to be) but because of your dual hammer wielding possibility - something I never even dreamed to be a possibility!
Sure re you often see dual weilding axes.... but hammers?
