When it was said we would see Predator gameplay, I (falsely) assumed we would see a little more other than a live gameplay/cinematic cut. Certainly, we can tell what was cinematic and what was actual live-gameplay, but stating this was "actual in-game footage" was stretching the truth.
Hoping to see more.

Oh no, I certainly see what you're saying. I should have phrased my disgruntled response better.
What I meant was, despite being an in-game footage showing the gameplay on the unreal 4 engine, it was still more of a cinematic reveal intertwined with some gameplay. I was expecting more on the gameplay side and less on the cinematic approach.
Its scripted gameplay, but not what the players will necessarily have access too.
Honestly, I was pleased to see the detail of the environment and scope of the buildings.
Basic combat animation and graphics along with another class.
Parcour was pleasing, which will be in game.
For me there was a hell of lot to like.
More importantly it showed an immense amount of accelerated progress.
At this stage I am looking for proof of concept videos.
I am happy, I am exceptionally happy at pre-alpha stage.

Yeah, but what's up with a bow that just "springs" into existence from thin air? I find it lazy and sloppy to not have an actual wooden bow that stows on your back and is visible just like your quiver. In fact, why have a quiver of arrows when you carry a bow made of...umm...magical energy? Was the mage that crafted it super lazy and forgot to make it shoot magic missiles? Seriously, it even has a magical string, but has to use normal arrows that are imbued themselves with more magical power to do things that a normal arrow wouldn't.
I don't mean to go too far down the path of "emersion breaking" purity, but this seems like something that could be addressed. Do swords, axes, daggers, pole-arms etc just suddenly appear in this game too? Just sayin'.....
In which case I will be opening a real world pitchfork emporium for your convenience.
People are so demanding these days.
