Superwide screen and HDR support

As title I search the www for info but didnt find any! As it is unreal 4 engine I cant see why 21:9 and HDR support shouldn't be any issue I have just got to hold off buying a monitor till then! It will probably same release date as when HDR monitors will be coming mainstream I hope!

  • Good question. I'd be curious about dual screens and the like as well.
  • Good question and probably worthwhile to ask here for a Dev response.

I expect 21:9 and 4K support now with games so there's no reason why it won't be there in a couple of years time for this game.
  • Sorry bump!

Still would like to hear the answer if it is supported! On reading about HDR and 21:9 would have to be programmed into the game and HDR future for sure, 21:9 is personnel marmite love or hate it!
  • I currently have a 3-screen setup with 5760x1080 resolution.
Would love it if the game would accommodate that natively.
  • Now that would be greedy hehe! Just 2 screen require need other for websurfing or Streaming! Still think a good HDR monitor isnt there yet tech wise need atleast 600-1k nits. Those out there dont have the GtG speed for gaming and are £10k-£30k. Tv are good for films only. Still waiting for good dyanmic HDR monitor before I upgrade.
  • Dam nvidia, the new gsync version to have HDR support at the same time the hardware for monitor costs £500! That certainly puts up the price alot compared with freesync2!
