How Multi-Boxing will turn AoC into P2W (Theorycraft)
These are just theorys based on what we have been told so far. How someone could use several accounts to basically have a huge unfair advantage over all players who do not. There by force other players to quit the game or buy 16 accounts. I hope someone at IS will read this and realize how much of a train wreck they will create allowing multi-boxers.

So Lets begin,
Lets say joe has 10 accounts. Now this is only $150 a month and i see players in archeage spent that per week per easily.
Node Systems
Scientific
Well Joe has 10 votes ,that average 1 account peasant doesn't, Who need to keep the masses happy ? You just a few say 20 multi-boxers who control 50% of the vote in that node. They can then ask for what building etc benefit them and the democratic system in the node now becomes something more like oligarchy of an economic node.
Economic
Well Joe has 10 accounts funneling gold to his main so he can now afford to pay 10 times more then that single account peasant. Its fair he paid the RL money to have those extra advantages.
Crafting System
Well who needs to buy ore , pay for processing and craft it into something sell-able. Joe just has to have an alt with those skills. 0 overhead now joe can undercut those darn single account peasants until they give up then inflate prices to what he feels they should be. This will also lead back to controls economic nodes.
So by making crafters time / skill worthless joe has just effectively broken the crafting system. All for an extra $100 a month.
Caravan System
Joe plants CamreaBot01 - 10(there alts not bots bro!) in each node that connects to his own node or at strategical points along the road. he sits in the central point with his ganker buddies and waits to see someone roll by.. Now since joe has all these accounts on visible there is no need for dynamics like global chat/whisper he can see 10 min way and report instantly the location of that caravan. And team gank is off to wreck someones days.
What risk ? No joe doesn't need to risk his own resources he can already carry 10 times what that 1 account peasant can just form an alt train to move resources between nodes. no risk of pvp necessary.
Gathering
Joe again can carry 10 times what anyone else can so he gets that entire mitril node to himself, since he got it all he can charge what he wants for it!
Hunting -
Buffs last 30 min so joe just need to have his buff bot urr alt log in every 30 min to rebuff or keep them there for afk leveling
Power Leveling Service's
Its not power leveling thats my alt!
Housing System (per @teraricshon)
Joe used his 10 accounts to have 10 freeholds and 10 houses. The free hold joe now generates more 10X more resources then any other player and the houses he holds for so other players cannot purchase them , to game the supply vs demand system forcing others to pay more he can make even higher profits on the backs of those 1 account peasants.
im sure as we learn more we will see even more way multi-boxing will implement pay to win.

Multi-boxing is not pay to win at all. Your idea of pay to win is too wide in my opinion.
I have yet to find an MMO that has banned multi-boxing as long as its done in a way that follows the games ToS such as no automation, no account stealing and not having to use programs to accomplish multi clients, etc.

Just wait till we see the guy with 10 accounts and a butt-load of money. They will have freeholds on every account and while not 100% efficiently being able to play on all of the accounts at the same time, they will be able to use all those freeholds for a ton of resources which translate into wealth which us not able to spend $150 just can't compete with. The only way for this not to be pay-to-win is to allow for everyone the ability to with 1 account play on multiple characters at the same time. Which I am also against, but that is less pay-to-win. I've played archeage, I had 3 accounts on archeage for all the land and I made WAY more money than other players through having extra accounts with a ton of land. Multi-boxing is p2w especially in a game like this. Even if someone only has 2 accounts, they can still obtain materials on both accounts at a faster rate than the one account player.
You don't need any automation to play on multiple accounts. I could do simple task such as fishing on two accounts and make way more money than you with one account. An you would have to really be denying the fact that someone with even 2 accounts can obtain materials faster, which translates into more wealth, to say that multi-boxing is not p2w.

This is my opinion as well.
So your arguments is "other people allow this pay to win plan" why shouldn't Aoc ?
Edit: To Wide ? I mean if your paying more then another player for advantages that will give you better gear, more gold , more influence etc how is that not pay to win ?

This won't deter me from supporting, or playing, Ashes. And, I'm more than willing to wait and see if this option still remains in place, when the game goes live, and how it may (or may not) impact the game.
But, means of convenience, such as auto-pathing, auto-looting, add-ons, mulit-boxing....I thought these were things that were killing the MMO industry, because instead of actually enjoying playing a game, there were all these methods to have the game play itself. I thought the community wanted game that could take them back to adventuring, intrigue, having fun socially interacting....and seeing that affect the world around you!

You are thinking in the sense of WOW where you grind a mob out endlessly for gold. The developers already said, mobs will not drop gold, they will drop items that need to be turned in for the quest for gold. Yea you could be grinding crafting mats but if you flood the economy with too many mats the prices will drop. While yea you will make more gold if prices drop 60% or more because you are grinding these mats it will not benefit you.
In the end. WTF are you winning at? Gear by the sounds of it will be easy to come by. So will housing? Yea there will be a premium set of housing. So WTF are you winning with getting more gold quicker? The Answer? NOTHING. If you have watched anything from the 4 videos you will gather that gear is not going to be as important as other games and the only real high end economy deal is the premium housing which likely not be about gold. It more often will be about do you know a person that is selling a house in that node that you really want and if they are level 5 nodes you can bet that they will go to guild first before a mutliboxer.
So Again What are you winning at?
Please read the OP I gave more then 10 examples that do not involve farming gold from mobs of how someone could use 10 accounts to completely dominate sevral aspects of the game. I do not want to come across as insulting but i would appreciate it if you actually read the original post before asking me to retype that information.
So far based on how they are explaining their systems, multi-boxing is questionable. Resources will expire and move around and be somewhat based off of node level. We don't know how claiming land/housing is going to work or what the costs are, so saying that someone can have 10 accounts and have land on all of them is just assuming. Not to mention that is probably a one off situation and if that ruins your gaming experience...I am sorry??? We don't even know how the crafting is going to fully work, the one benefit I've found so far would be with the crafting system. Having different accounts following different paths of progression, but again we are not too sure how crafting is going to work.
All in all, you will have no idea if someone is multi-boxing half the time unless they come out and say it or you can assume by seeing the toons following one another around all the time. ( that's more questionable....)
