Some random thoughts/ideas
Hello,
Every now and again my brain goes "wouldn't this be cool in an MMO"..
So I figured where better to put those thoughts into words than on the forum for what looks to be the next step in the MMO genre evolution.
I'd be happy to receive any criticism on these ideas in case they are just 'silly' or have already been tried and failed etc....
1) Facebook Integration - Sign Up/Log in with Facebook, in game Facebook messenger integration. Achievements sharing, Friend Invites.
2) VR/AR/MR integration - First person view, 3rd person view with wide field of view. Dedicated screen and virtual keyboard/mouse pad for AR/MR glasses,headsets.
3) Instanced resources - More Guild Wars 2 than WOW.
4) Free Aim - Choice of switching between assisted aiming and free aiming with higher damage rewards for use of free aim, think using a bow in Skyrim.
I'll continue to add things as they come to mind.
