Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

So i found this great article on pcgamer and just want to trow it here...
Maybe devs can get some ideas or see that cooking is very important to great number of players (including me)..
Also to maybe get response about how cooking will work in game and can we become a master chef who wil be famous server wide...

I think one of the keys for cooking to be great is for the use of food to be not just required (light survival), but interesting and fun!
Food/beverages should have nutrients of their own, and those nutrients may combine to give your character not just a "stat" boost, but more energy -- or even just "pleasure" for a character sensory system. Likewise that food could disagree with your character, and its up to you to learn his likes and desires.
Often overlooked, Eco has a neat nutrient system...

And right now the grandaddy of cooking systems has to be Wurm. Honestly Wurm has so many amazing deep skill progression systems...

From what i have read cooking will be important and a Tavern or Inn will be an option on a Freehold.... so yes you can operate your own business.

Fantastic. I knew opening a tavern would be possible, but I was concern if being a cook would be a useless profession. I would like to feel involved and part of the community, if cooking doesn't offer that, I would change profession to a blacksmith/alchemist.
