Affecting the Ecosystem?
I was listening to a recording of one of the QA and I heard steven mention that our actions would have an effect on the ecosystem around us.
Now I know as a known feature that the larger the node grows, the bigger badder enemies "Wake up" and start appearing. But could it possibly go even deeper?
Let's say someone finds the best animal to kill cause it drops more skin to make leather, suddenly everyone rushes out to kill said animal. Could they have something where because of the overhunting, the spawns on that animal are decreased. But any smaller creatures that animal normally hunts would explode in population because the players are killing off its predators?
just wanna know what " affecting the ecosystem " really means if anyone can drop some knowledge :D

If we overkill some creatures, what will move in to fill the vacated space?

While this does reflect real would conditions, it’s a PITA.
