Freeholds, ground clipping and dwarves.

Does the open world free hold claim clip into the ground or water table or can it have basements and below ground rooms. Asking for a Dunir friend. lol. Can the dwarves build underground? I have several designs in mind including under ground farms.

Another option would be a few prebuilt chambers in the hills or under the node filled with rubble and ore that the Dunir, Nikua could open up and build into making the node a little more three dimensional.
Do claims go from "bedrock " to the "sky"? or can they be stacked (With conditions)?
Is a moat/pond build possible so the Nikua have their essential waterfront cottage.
Basicly race based low level architecture. It should all merge at the metropolis level but so far we see mostly what might be called Human housing.

  • We know that they are not going the brick by brick, design what you want route.
You will have at best, prebuilt modules that can be combined.
What prebuilt modules are available, and how they can be combined, is yet to be seen.
