AoC could be a fertile ground for Bots
It's fact that AoC will be a subscription based game, which can be beneficial in keeping the game not P2W, but what about bots? I know many subscription based MMOs that are infested with bots. So, what is IS doing about bots?

Does that answer your question on their focus ?

I am sorry, who is paying that much money? Who in the world would spend that much money on a maybe project? Who? Just WHO?! I am baffled!

Who? Who in the world would pay that much money for an alpha key on this maybe project? Just WHO? Seriously, that amount of money is huge, and spending it just to get an alpha key doesn't make sense economically. There is just no benefit.

OMG i didn't think of that! You are wise.

(pay that much and more)
Edit: I came back to the world of adults, though, and was reminded about bills and what not, by the fist of responsibility. T^T
There are people who spend millions of dollars in a car they barely touch, and that's how life goes, if you generate enough money to always have some left, you can do whatever you want with it.
Talking about bots when the game hasn't even begin it's alpha test phase, we won't see any bots attempt until the full game release most likely, and still, all you need is a unique trading/selling system ingame to make bot websites not interested in this game.
But what with this stupid title? "AoC could be a fertile ground for Bots" rofl, are bots plants or something? Are you mad you didn't get a key yet or something?
Well we don' know exactly. They have told us in the twitch streams and elsewhere that they front loaded security coding and hinted that they are working with another firm to help with that as well. They have said a few times that there will be focus on these types of problems, including being able to look at individual activity by accounts and characters. I imagine that they will do everything that they can or can be done within reason. Just like most other MMOs that care about such things past lip service.
Do you have suggestions for them?

Pretty harsh, but I have to agree. These questions are pretty mind-numbing, pointless, taken out of context, speculation, no research, assumptions.

Nice point, but pretty harsh. These questions/ideas are mind-numbing, speculating, absurd assumptions.
Anyways...I know that forums are meant for conversation, but lets try to keep it meaningful. If you haven't watched all the content they have release then I know you can jump to conclusions, but come on...your ideas you keep posting are a bit far-fetched.
This phrase should carry a lot of weight PREALPHA.

Again, as pointed out, bots are also loading their guns, buying alpha keys so on so forth, so it's definitely going to be a long and drawn out battle.
only time will tell who will win.
Macroing is a very, very simple form of a bot.
One very good way to deter bot creators, is to apply regular updates. When I say regular, I mean every day. Only the most determined bot developers will keep on developing and supporting bots for games that do that.
The update applied can be quite simple. Anyone who knows their own code and how hacks and bots work, how they access your code, will know what to do to cause the headache for bot developers.

OMG, there are actually two people who collectively spent 20k on this game. I am done, lol.

I did now, and you are right. There are two people who've collectively spent 20k on this game. That doesn't make any sense.
