Phone App for Ashes of Creation

I hope Intrepid releases a phone app that allows us to remain connected to the world of Ashes of Creation even when we are unable to be at our computers to play. This way no matter where we are, we can contribute to the game and remain updated on things happening in the world of Ashes of Creation. It doesn't need to be like what world of warcraft: Legion's app does, but just a way to ensure the user doesn't have to be left out.

• I would also enjoy a system like this. Nexon Korea (the good version of the company) released an app for their game Mabinogi Heroes (Vindictus). Players can view their gear, talk with their guild and make purchases from the marketplace all via their mobile devices. I'd love to see something like this implemented for Ashes
• If I remember correctly, Steven stated that the mobile app is not something they will be using their resources on since getting the actual game ready for the launch is the priority number one.
• I think an app way down the line would be fab ^^ I work full time and it be a nice to pop on an app at work but game first game first ❤️

That's good to hear. Priority and focus on the game is key. I feel like they have a pretty aggressive timeline (which is also good) and that should take priority.

A lot of the time I see studios with clever plans and projects around the game (apps, videos, busses, and all other manner of irrelevant insanity) that detract from the focus while wasting precious time and money.

If down the road a mobile app or some sort of external integration makes sense then it could be revisited. If there were any third party integration I would rather see something that supports the gameplay and community like Discord. Discord integration into the game would rock because it supports the gameplay.
• For me it would all depend on what could be done. For just viewing my gear that wouldn't really interest me. Also for making purchases that doesn't really make sense as there is no global market place. If however i could complete crafting mini games or chat with the guild that would be nice. Maybe they could confine it to people in the guild hall to keep it from breaking continuity.
• I'm iffy on phone apps. Generally I'm not a fan of "needing" an app to keep pace in game, and having an app that adds value to my actual play experience.
• A phone app would be cool, down the road, though I do agree with Dwarvengamesmith, I would need it to do a bit more than the basics. If I could manage my items that are on the market as well as some social aspects, it would be nice. I dont really want to put too much thought into it, as it may never happen.
• The app would be handy for say re-stocking your business (shop, tavern etc), keeping an eye on your npc workers (feeding them etc), re-stocking the auction house and keeping an eye on the auction house. But I wouldn't like to see the ability to buy off the auction house as this would encourage "bid sniping" etc.
• apparently there will be a phone app. dunno the full details yet tho.
