A Cautiously Optimistic MMO Veteran

Hey, all.
My name is Aguasatori and I've played most of the MMORPGs out there. Most have done little to hold my interest. I've raided Icecrown Citadel in the glory days of WoW, battled against the Brakmarians in Dofus, and kicked people in the nuts (literally) in SWTOR. Guild Wars 2 was a refreshing take on MMOs and it captured my interest since the day it launched. I led my guild against huge blobs of enemy players in World vs. World and made great friends (and enemies) along the way. I even met my girlfriend through running dungeons! It's been 5 years and I still can't believe it.
Now I'm looking for something new. I've been following AoC since the beginning and I just recently pledged. It's healthy to have some skepticism about projects like this, but the MMORPG genre has stagnated to the point that I'm willing to take a chance on this one. Maybe the devs can actually keep their promises.
So let's get hyped and speculate wildly about random things while secretly praying that we didn't throw our money away :)

i'm also a former WoW player T^T and trust me i wish that this game will be Worth the hype.

I really hope you and your friend will enjoy Ashes. I already know that this will be my main game no matter what. No P2W aspects, beautiful world, and housing. It's all so gorgeous, I hope the gameplay reflects it's appearance. <3 Anyway welcome aboard the hype train, destination? Adventure!

Even better, Devs that actually listen to its Community - as opposed to ignoring it. In addition to their experience working on other projects; destined to be ( at least ) relatively promising

Not necessarily ICC on its own, but WoTLK was a fantastic expansion. I quit before Cata came out.
