Have the devs mentioned a possible dueling system wherein you can bet items/gold? or a PvP area where a player will lose gear if killed in that specific area?

    @Cdubb The idea may have been floated around but I do not believe we've gotten any information on Bet Placement (don't quote me on this). https://discord.gg/33zsPT you can always check the community discord. As for losing gear if killed, This only occurs if you are a red player, which means you go around griefing players and die whilst red. Intrepid implemented this to deter players from becoming "murder hobos"

    Bets and etc... will probably require the 2 players to agree to it and honor the deal!! I don't believe they have an exact system in play for that perhaps maybe in the future!!

    The game is still in Pre-Alpha Not alot of information has been revealed!

    I think this would work well in a pvp arena :D Aslong as the arena is open to spectators so I can join in on the bets xD Bit of fun ^^
    No answers yet be the concept is floating around so who knows!

    Stadium would be the preferable term. Spectators can watch above just like how gladiators fight in the roman times. Maybe Spectators can bet before entering the stadium

    @Diura @kencha77 my only concern will the betting be hold by a NPC or will it be run by a actual player!
    I do love the concept to bet it would be cool to see that feature in the game!

    @JcTruper i would have it with an npc xD just encase the player runs off with all the dosh ^^

    the winner of the duel can also get a share from the all the bets
    Or spectators can also just give items/gold to a price pool for the duel

    This system is most likely not to be implemented, since if there's gold sellers of any kind, using these kind of dueling "bets" would make it easier to disguise and exploit. In this game you have to build and destroy stuff, compared to other games where everything is already huild. Losing things on bets won't be as fun.

    While its a great idea it would turn into alt lords gold farming hub.

    I don't see why the player couldn't just do it on their own, much easier done that way.

    Plus it also adds power to the player regarding, "what if I don't want to honor the bet?" Sure it may seem scummy, but the choice is always there.

    It feels like this ties in with <strong>Akabear</strong>'s post <em>Parlor Games</em>, like you could bet on a fist fight or something, but I understand you are looking at it in a bigger scale.

    I have been wondering about something like this and while I can see the actual fighters betting items or gold, the viewers should only be able to bet gold.

    @Diura I agree NPC all the way!

    @Atsukai Agree & Disagree it would be fun to me atleast because its a risk =reward situation and thats why I would like a NPC Hold the bets not an actual player!

    @Kadin Yeah I could honestly see that, but players are going to result in some sort of scheme to make fast money regardless!

    @Valenores How would you counter this issue if he decide to run you can't really kill him, because more likely you will go corrupt on doing so!

    @SleepyDrifter I agree viewers only gold not items!
