24:55 How will you guys prevent p2w via gold seller player to player trading?

    Steven:
Outside of the standard mmo security mechanics that involve, algorithms and flagging accounts that have nonstandard action. We plan to have a very active gm community that will be proactive in preventing RMT, botting, spamming in chat, all that kind of stuff. It is something we haven't seen in most recent mmos for some reasons. I don't know why we moved away from active GMs, but that's something I feel very strongly about that GMs should be proactive in servers and stuff. Which means, yes, there will be a higher costs associated for customer service from that standpoint, but at the same time if you build up a subscription model game those are the types of things you can do.

This pleases me, greatly. Not only for GMs taking care of stuff directly, but also knowing that they ARE there. I truely believe it makes for a better community.
  • Steven's solution to this problem, I believe, is the way to go.

There are MMORPG's these days that have taken the lazy / easy route and just remove nearly all loot and gold from the game, whether through questing or hunting mobs. Where's the fun in that? It's not very rewarding, crippling to the economy and makes it rather difficult to amass any kind of wealth, as well.
  • Many MMORPG's had active GM's and since F2P was launched, there was maybe only one left.
Why not thinking about to make some players super-user (selection definition depends on the GM's).
Those are able to kick e.g. goldsellers or mute them for the channels.
  • Gold sellers are more common in F2P games. I don't think they will be much of an issue here.

  • All online games have a button to complain about the player, the main thing is how quickly GM reacts. If within seconds, then this will be enough. But the responsibility for buying game values not in the game should be permanent for the players. BAN

Then again seeing you dont have to pay for the game only the sub, we might get some and as you said if the GM's can act fast this will help in the long run.
