Don't force us to be victims of PvP'ers?

What is your general view on the possibility of being forced into PvP in AoC?
The discussion thread here: https://www.ashesofcreation.com/forums/#/discussion/16624/please-dont-force-us-to-be-victims-of-pvpers has been going on for quite some time now, with strong arguments on all sides, and I'm not suggesting that it stops, unless you have a chance to air all view points, nothing ever changes.
All I was thinking though as I looked at the 22 page plus of comments was that for each post on a strong argument for one side or another, were the other ignored 5 or so comments about how little it matters to the majority of players and how it's not an issue unless you make it one.
Rather than post an extra comment on an already overwhelmed thread just so it could be another ignored one, I thought it might be nice to have a simple obvious way for the community to put their view across.
Hence the poll.
If you still feel like stongly debating, the conversation is still going on, but this thread is not the one for it...
