Ashes is all revolved around team play only?
I went over to guild recruitment loved the idea to make one. But then figured I am not as experienced as I might think so wanted to follow someone who has a lot of experience in this feild. But now I am thinking I want to play "Log Horizon" style. For those who don't know it's an anime in about an mmo rpd I forget. The main guy was really good at the game but never was part of a guild. As times changed he did make one though. But my question to you guys is what is your opinion on this. I mean I'll take it as I would not be affecting the world a great deal on my own. But I am pritty sure as they say. "The one who travels fastest travels alone, while the one who travels farthest travels with others." I would wana take the fast route out first switching it up mid way making a guild and making a name for myself. You guy's opinion on this.

It'd create a really nice story to tell if you left the guild over some disagreement, built up your own group of followers and then engaged the original guild in war.
I posted the other day about the newbie group finally taking time to learn each member's tactics so that they could work better as a team.
I'm not exactly sure what your goal is, but...
Best way to make a name for yourself is to acquire a home at the village stage so that it becomes a mansion at the city stage.
Everyone in the city will know who you are - if your village survives to become a city.
Take time to make friends with the people in your village who play at the same time you do. Go on adventures together with some of those folk. Hold parties to show off your pets and decorations. Figure out who you like adventuring with.
Get involved in politics.
I also suggest you start regularly following a twitch streamer on your server -preferably from your city- and be active in the chat.
Ashes isn't all team play.
And there's all kinds of ways to be social with sticking with a team.
But, it should also be easy to bond with the citizens of your town in such a way that you can form a team of like-minded friends when you wish to.
