Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

    Won't different servers end up having different raids? That'll make world firsts pretty confusing since it might not even be a race.

    You could always end getting ranks through PvP XP so no matter how you get it, the rank substantiates the players legitimate claim to "World First". But yeah, in PvE, I'm not sure how they'll measure or if it will be worth measuring "World First's". Mind you, whilst I appreciate their desire for dynamic environments I highly doubt we'll have infinite raids/bosses/dungeons etc, so you'll always have server firsts for the different types of content, and compare deaths/time or something else for "best in the world" bragging rights.

    I prefer longevity in my achievements. I'm more interested in who did it best, not first.

    I recognize a few guilds here that are down for this.  We'll see if they're actually going for this certain achievement.

    World firsts can also include: the mastering of professions, first node leveled to metropolis, first person voted to leader of specific node types, first to explore the entire map, first to find those hidden easter eggs, and a bunch of other stuff that each server will be able to compete for

    I'm currently watching a Chinese anime called "Quan Zhi Gao Shou | The King's Avatar". It's about a MMORPG that has a real MMORPG part, as well as a pro-gaming MOBA part.
    The story told in the anime (and manga) is kinda awesome. Rather than racing for the final levels and getting everything killed first, they are racing for the best dungeon times.
    Which guild (or group of individuals) clears a dungeon in the shortest duration of time.
    I'd rather like to see this "achievement" - even though it's probably temporary - rather than permanent world or server first achievements.

    Here is the video from Deathsproxy that explains the info known so far on World Bosses, so while worlds first will be a thing, it will be waaaaay down the line, server specific, and will occur over the life of the game.     Aren't Chinese comics called Manhua? While Japanese ones are called Manga?

    Sounds like a fun anime though. I'll try to check it out.

    Not really fussed about world first's and the pissing contests that it involves, achievements for faster/better completions as the communities try to develop tactics to overcome the powerful enemies is far more impressive in my opinion.
    That 'Quan Zhi Gao Shou | The King's Avatar' is quite an impressive anime to watch, the anime has overtaken the manwha already despite only being at episode 10, if you wanted to continue the story instead of waiting every week then the light novel is better.
