Will mounts have limited storage or a storage system.

Seeing players will not be able to carry much, will mounts help in the short term. Lets take this as an example. You find a mining area, you start to mine. You find your over weighted. Can you at this point place some of your ore on your mount or will there be some other mechanic to move the ore to another destination. Yes I know the caravan system will do it, but will it be available at the mining area.

    They do have a long legged camel-looking animal (moonstrider???) that looks like a pack animal, so I definitely see a mechanic that allows different mounts to either help you carry more or have their own inventory to carry for you.

    There's of course the caravan system as well.

    Yes I have seen those mounts and they appear to have bags on the side. But are they just for looks or are they for storage.

    As @Karthos said, there will be some mounts that will help quite a bit for carrying of items. As for if they are limited or if they disappear, I believe it's just an assistance - not a side-storage.

    Inventory space will be tied to a backpack type item, that will be crafted from artisans. The higher lvl backpack, the greater the inventory space. Different backpacks will cater to different players. IE A gatherers backpack will have more space for gatherables, an adventurers more space for consumables and items.

    As for the Mule, that I'm thinking you're talking about:

    These mules will assist in the transport of goods/resources/gatherables, allowing you to spawn these animals for greater carrying capacity.
