Different inventory systems
So I am just throwing this out there. How many different inventory systems will we have.
Currently we know our characters will have inventory that's a given. We might get inventory on mounts. Nothing has been discussed about a players private bank. We don't know about guild banks and will our freehold be able to have a private chest we can use as well. Is this all we need. I know crafters will need stuff to be stored, how much that might be is still an unknown.

- Yourself
- Mount if its a mule or the like, some mounts have saddlebags etc.
- Your freehold can have chests (already confirmed in a gameplay vid)
- Your city housing can probably have some sort of limited storage.
- There might be a bank in some cities if the leaders choose it (<-- I assume).
I think thats about it, there might also be some cosmetic "inventory".In my opinion, crafting items and resources are items like any other, they take up space and weigh something, which I think is going to matter in Ashes. So they should encumber whatever your actual inventory is, not go into any special "handy-wavy" bag for "quality of life"!
The quality of life of a crafter is putting in the extra effort required to do what it takes, and if that activity bothers non-crafters, then the balance is correct
The same goes for quest items - they are items none the less! They should take up physical inventory space so on occasion, you may have to make a choice or plan ahead if space or weight is an issue. WoW even gets this right to this day, when many games think it's ok to "magically dismiss" quest items as items.
