Nodes: Wealth, Combat, Military, Science, Divine
How do you guys think these will interact with one another ?

I envision military nodes running caravan security for economic nodes ect. The science nodes will attract all the nerds and it will be a real smarty-pants situation over there.
What I really hope we see is a city that turns into a "Holy City" which is a Divine Node that all other nodes come together, because God Wills It.
This alone will deter players from accepting alliances.
Oh? I'd always figured that Each Individual Player will have a unique opinion on the their node involvement
For example:
the Node's King's/Queen's Interest might differ from a small handful of Players. and this could cause ... "Betrayal from Within" ?
or
lets say ... a Caravan was requested from Combat Node to Divine Node.
~Each node, can give their own Caravan unique attributes (based on Node Stage) - such as the Combat's Caravan might be able to Move faster than other Caravans, while the Divine Caravan might keep Better Defensive/Immunity to Movement Debuffs etc ...
In addition, I'd thought that Each Node will have something that the Other Node(s) won't have - such as Crafting Material or Augments. Abilities that can be only be found at ...Scientific Node. or Gems that can only be found at Wealth Node, or "Treasure Maps" that can only be found Divinity Nodes, etc ...
In short, each Node will have everything a Player a needs ... but others will contain different items/trinkets, relic, Quests, crafting material, Potions etc...
Including the Nodes' Environment
(i.e. Items found in-town VS. Items found out-of-town )
Btw ... Scentific Nodes might have a lot Chemical Explosives.
Hence: " Knowledge is Power " Xp
( which will obviously tie into the Wealth Node too (:3) )
For Example:
Lets say ... Node Stage 1 = Magic-Potion Shop Stage 1
these will be you Basic Mixtures/Solutions thats been Gathered by other Players across the in-game World.
Remember - the Beginning will be toughest due to how no Nodes would be established
(hence no caravans yet )
then Stage 2
then Stage 3 - this is where more Variety of Potions could start being available
then Stage 4 - this is where its starts to expand

... Will there be competition of goods ?
The 4 types are Economic, Military, Scientific, Divine.
4 types and potentially 5 nodes max means that at max for a server, there will be at least one doubling of a node type.
Will the leaders of 2+ Military nodes feel like they must determine who is the ultimate warlord on the server?
Will the Popes of 2+ Divine nodes follow the same god or rival gods?
Will the citizens of Scientific nodes hate religion?
Will the citizens of Economic nodes hate fast travel?
I'm just curious to learn what the ultimates for each node type will be.
So many possibilities.
Is the four confirmed though? I can do some writing with this information.
My allegiance will be between the economic node or the scientific node.
If the server really likes fast travel, they may want 4 or 5 Scientific Metropolises.
It's really going to depend on the specific server.
@Cyreph The 4 node types have been confirmed: Economic, Military, Scientific, Divine.
@Eragale Most shops will be player shops. The Economic node might be an exception. I think the most influential NPC shops might have to be voted on by citizens.
It will be interesting to see what we would have to do to increase the stock of an NPC shop.

As you may know, nodes have 4 different types, Scientific, Economic, Militaristic, and Divine. These types unlock different buildings at each level of Node progression, contributing progressively larger benefits at each stage of a nodes development. At the Metropolis stage, these benefits are so wide reaching that a Scientific Metropolis is going to feel very different from an Economic Metropolis and a Divine Metropolis will feel very different from a Militaristic Metropolis. Not only will these cities feel different, but the regions these giant cities belong to will feel different as well.
