PvP System

Howdy, Ashlings!
I'm curious about the instanced PvP system. Will everyone be auto scaled so it's based of skill - kinda like Guild Wars 2, or will it be kinda like WoW - better gear you have from grinding, the stronger you are in PvP. As I was never a fan of having to grind PvE to get gear for PvP or having to fight against fully geared players in instance PvP with bad gear. Also, if everything isn't auto scaled, will there be rewards in PvP (i.e. honor points) that I can buy PvP armor with, assuming PvP armor is a thing?

Also, will I need to unlock all traits or skills or whatever is in the game before I play instance PvP so I will not be hindered?

For example, will I be able to fight against the highest level players as a lower level? Will skill be the only factor when it comes to instance PvP?

As there is a focus on having open-world PvP be a thing, I assume that nothing will be autoscaled and the power and abilities of your character is determined by how high level you are and how good your gear is in Open-World PvP. This is why I'm only inquiring about Instance PvP, like Arenas or whatever.

    All we know, is that there will be very little instanced PVP, that conflict in Ashes will be purposeful.

    There will be no PvP specific gear but some stats might be more useful for PvP than for PvE.
