Will you play Ashes in VR?

The UE platform supports VR, and it should be available for this game before it comes out. Will you play in VR? and if so on which system?

Unless they had the technology to go "full dive mode", like in those anime's, than no. Impractical in SO many ways.
Can you elaborate on "not the type"? UE is for FPS...
Please elaborate on the impractical ways?As a Dwarf, looking down would be so....disappointing.
but who knows, maybe I'll change my mind once I've tried?
If that's the case, then how do does a player turn around to see behind themself, while sitting down/standing, with a VR headset presumably connected to either the monitor, or tower, while staying at their keyboard?
If a player can still orient themselves, using their keyboard/mouse, then no problem, though I'd still have reservations. Like visual quality.
I'm haven't kept track with how VR tech has advanced, but it still seems limited in some regards. If there are any inaccuracies in my understanding, please explain.
I'd love to, not sure about playing, but just going fit a walk in the world would be gorgeous....
Though as i have a treadmill desk, this would be insanely stupid to try..... can't wait!
If it had full VR support, the controls would be completely different on a VR system. To give an example of this, games such as Redemption's Guild (an mmorpg currently in development for VR) requires you to actually make the hand movements-draw out spells in the air- to cast, when you are on your cleric. If you are on your rogue-you squat to the floor, that is like throwing a smokebomb and you disappear into the shadows. Because it tracks your movements, hand gestures etc-there is no need for a mouse and keyboard. It is literally you that is doing the motions, actually aiming with your bow, blocking that strike with your shield, and conjuring that spell.
People who are against implementing VR for games either do not understand the dynamics, or are just being biased-much like the console wars you see debated on daily. The possibilities are endless with it.
I see a couple of good points here. It is true, that from a tactical standpoint you are better in 3rd person view than 1st person(VR being FP). Also, if you are used to a keyboard/mouse combo, it might be seen as a lesser control scheme for precision, much as an original gamepad compared to the kybd/mouse. Lots of naysaying also..
I am intrigued to see where the same tech will go with Augmented Reality AR though.
VR in ashes...nah

Maybe after the tech has matured a bit and that MMO is built as a VT platform but not now.
We all of course know what it was developed for and i think it will stay around in some form for many years to fill that demand.
