I hate you, GIFs

Why are you limited to only a 256 color pallet? Why must you distort my creations so?

Why must forums only allow gifs in their signatures, and not H.264 files? There is so much more room for me to be creative, yet you limit me so?  :'(

    But my H.264 file is 5.21 MB, and the worse GIF file is 28.8 MB. The interwebs need to keep up with the times  :'(

    But your signature is so shiny. If you make it any shinier it will melt the interwebs.
