this game looks too promising then any MMO I've every seen, talking greater then ESO, EQ, Dragons dogma, dragon age, FF Relm Reborn (which is my favorite right now) etc.. Lets get it!!!

    For years on up means we won't have any good mmos for years other than ashes. That is something i am not hoping for. Having one good game for years is just not right because Ashes will surely have times where the players burnout of the existing content and would like to try out other games while Ashes is getting new content. Therefore, to have no other good alternative will just be limiting. However, i do hope this game is nearly as good as interpid is selling it.

    There can be other good ones, but this one being the best is what the OP is counting on. :)

    You really don't need to sell it to us, we're already loving it!
    The community is great and totally invested in keeping the positive vibes flowing. :D

    I understand where you're coming from, lack of competition causes complacency, however I don't believe anyone thinks that there won't be any other MMO's around, heck right now you have the following in production:
    *clears throat*

    Pantheon, Crowfall, Camelot unchaibned, Chronicles of Elyria, Star Citizen... 

    Then you'll also have the already launched ones and hopefully some of those will stick around. 

    But if you ask almost anyone around here, we have a huge amount of faith in the Intrepid's team to bring good on their ideas and ideals.

    I'm also hoping Ashes will be the best out there, though a good bit of competition will keep them on their toes!  

    We also need to remember that the community has a large part in game success and failure.  We'll need to focus on making it the best we can, which keeps more people around, which means more stuff gets created for Ashes to then continue until the end of ever.   ^.^

    The community will make or break this game.its why this forum gives me such high hopes.
