Guild ceremonies

What do you think? Will your guild have a foundation ceremony?

Will new recruits have to pass an initiation before affiliating? 

Maybe that's too much of RP but it would be fun, wouldn't it?

    I think that depends on a guild to guild basis but I like the idea at least

    New guildies buy a round of iced milk tea, a local beverage, for the founding members. Then we go to a ramen store of a silent guildie.

    At least that's my idea of initiation. @AutumnWillow, @Umji could you confirm?

    The Rper in me wants to stand on ceremony. Perhaps not for every guild function and new recruit that joins. However, I have been part of some epic recruitment ceremonies in the past and remember them fondly. For my guild, I plan on keeping it simple and ceremony would only be held for feasts, guild promotions, declarations of war and rallying the troops when a Siege begins.

     I think even non-rpers will admit it is a lot of fun to see their guild muster together and prepare for war, even if the most RP thing said is "We gonna kick some arse."

    Not all our guildies will be Singaporean. Heh, if they drop by to visit... sure. 

    Aside from that.. I don't think we'll currently have any form of initiation planned.

    I am thinking it might be @nagash guild but it really won't matter as skeletons don't have much to show off other then bones, I'd think of it as a way to make sure that you are what you say you are, but I could be wrong about the whole thing and @nagash could have something better planed

    I heard tell that the guild,  "Streakers" might be looking to recruit.
    Then there's the Dorf Daily Doubles who demand you come in last in the naked dwarf run in order to join.
