Guild : Will people make their own guilds with friends, or join the big ones? (eeee 2.0)
I've always been a fan of starting my own guild and try to make it grow, and be able to say that i started this guild if it one day should grow big, but i've never actually been able to, or put enough effort in it. This time i think i will though, as i have a lot of friends who will join me on this adventure.
whats the opinion of the general public?

If I'm going to join a guild, it has to be with friends and like-minded players.
My gameplay is way too chill and casual challenge to join a guild of strangers.
Of course, with programs such as Discord and these forums, it's much easier to do that these days without months of watchful eye gaming hammering it out solo.

Back to topic, I think regardless of person, everyone could open their own guild if the person can complete certain conditions around money and level.
I want to join a guild that is laid back but focused. Let's me be the charming individual I am and doesn't saddle me with meetings.
Let's play the game. Let's be friends. Let's be awesome
I personally like the idea of small guilds better then large, larger guilds tend to have more drama issues
meh will be hard...as allways
That was a big deal, back then.
I really, really enjoyed watching people as they grew to love the game, as they grew into themselves. Some left the guild to join progression guilds; it was great for them, and we kept in touch. Some left the game, but we remained in touch.
I think, for me, the primary focus of my guild involvement will always be "How can I help someone's game time be more enjoyable?" That doesn't mean I'm trying to be everything for everyone; rather, I found what I'm good at. I'm good at building folk up. I'm good at coordinating activities. I'm good at finding amazing people. So the guild we make for Ashes will have those components; I'll be one of three "leaders," which just means there are three of us who're willing to play cat-herders. We will likely be small(ish), but I anticipate we'll grow together and, as time goes by, we'll grow as a guild as well.
I'm all in favor of things that grow slowly, organically; these things tend to last longer, and that's my ultimate goal for a guild. One that will make friends, share friends, and last for a good long while.
SMALL GUILD GOOD. MEMBER REMEMBER.
SMALL GUILD NAME TWO PLUS TWO OR THREE WORD.
BIG GUILD ONE WORD. MABBE ONE PLUS ONE WORD.
I'll have to rely on the strength and expertise of my other officers and guild mates. What I'm really actively looking for is for more SEA players to join the sea discord community.
Personally, community first, guild recruitment later.
That being said. I look forward to joining some forum based community during the alpha and beta. My plans aren't set in stone. Who knows how things might turn out in the future if the community is extremely strong I'm not personally against joining a non-sea server.
