How do you all feel about the ability to create songs in game. A few MMOs let you make custom songs with MML.

Could be cool thing for bards right?

I'd also suggest an option to turn off hearing other people's song if you need to. You know after the 3rd hour of Darude Sandstorm

    In EQ2, I had a Sarnak bard character and I created macros for all his abilities so that he sang song verses when playing all his buff songs.  (Around 2 - 4 lines of songs for every buff.)

    I enjoyed being able to do that, made me feel more like playing an actual bard - opposed to just a melodic toned caster of sorts. 

    In GW2, I liked how you could play actual musical instruments for fun as well, like drums and such.  I hope bards in AoC get a variety of musical abilities like that.

    More options is definitely better than less. As long as it doesn't lead to scope creep or take resources away from other areas of the game that might need them. 

    I would like to eventually have that option in the game, even though I probably wouldn't be able to play much on it aside from do re mi.
