Unofficial "Name that Herb" Thread - Part 1!

We've all just come through a portal to a strange world, where nature has flourished. But what out there is edible? Who knows!! You're going to have to taste it or identify it in some way. Some may be poisonous and some may have magical properties! Inspired by @tugowar's thread for naming classes, this thread is for creating names and nicknames for potential herbs :)

You have been exploring and come across the following herbs. What do you name them? What does your race call them? What are you going to use them for?

Here are some descriptions of herbs:

  1. Green leafy sprig with tiny yellow flowers. It tastes spicy and might work as a cooking ingredient.
  2. Dark purple mushroom found in the underrealm. It seems to have some medicinal qualities.
  3. Furry dark grey moss that is found growing on the dark side of boulders. It tastes surprisingly meaty.
  4. Large white flower with dark orange interior.  You discern this is extremely poisonous!
  5. Red clover leafs that blossom with a tiny blue flower. Appears to have a sweet taste.
  6. Black ivy growing along the sides of dead trees in a forest. The ivy feels like gelatiin. Very interesting magical properties.
  7. Massive green Orchid with spotted red and yellow along the the petals. Appears to bloom only at night and seems very poisonous.
  8. Skinny black spiral rod-like that grow along a streambed.  They seem to have some medicinal qualities.
  9. Peach-colored mushroom with a black stem. The mushroom seems to pulsate every minute and release a low hum. This thing is definitely magical and also poisonous.
  10. A blue-green fern-like herb that seems to grow sometimes outside of cave entrances in the shade.  It tastes bitter, and also seems to have some medicinal properties.

I question your herbalist credentials, @Karthos. Did you even test any of these out or did you  stomp on them in victory?
