I like it very much! But I wish there was a dark equivalent archetype name for Archmages like "Sorcerer". Sauron and Voldemort for example, were pure kick ass evil sorcerers IMO, not necromancers or warlocks or the like.
  • Mage/Tank: Bastion
    Mage/Fighter: SpellSword
    Mage/Cleric: Saint
    Mage/Mage: Wizard
Mage/Summoner: Enchanter (necro should only be dark specific)
    Mage/Bard: Spellsinger
Mage/Rogue: illusionist  - Not crazy about it but can't think of anything else
    Mage/Ranger: Mystic Marksman? WitchHunter?
  • St Magris University for the Magically Gifted

I dunno if I'm doing this right.

  • They answered one of my questions about Mage/Mage during a live stream and Jeff refered to a Mage/Mage as an Archmage.

Mage/Mage life all the way though

To think or not to think, this is the question. And if you disagree with me, you die by my Archmage's fire balls.

The Albus Academy for the Arcane Arts has a nice alliterative ring to it.

    Mage/Tank: Arcane Shielder, Telekenetic
Mage/Fighter: Warmage, Dragonborn (could work for a fighter/mage as well :D)
    Mage/Cleric: Theurge, Inquisitor?,
    Mage/Mage: Archmage, Elementalist
    Mage/Summoner: Animator, Shaper, Mystic
Mage/Bard: Enchanter, Illusionist, Lore Master, Auralist?
    Mage/Rogue: Shadow mage, Trickster
Mage/Ranger: Druid? , Wind benders, Balloon Animal Maker.

@tugowar , someone sniped your mage naming thread. Haha.

  • @AutumnWillow :) I saw.  I'm still going to do one when it comes up in my rotation.   That's why I'm the "Unofficial Official"!

I'm spacing them out on purpose.  We've got a lot of time...

I'll try to come up with more ideas when yours comes along as well :)

Then let's make a class from archmage?  Erebokinesis(manipulate darkness ) + Archmage = Fallen Mage?

  • Mage/Tank: Arbiter (Mistress of shields)
    Mage/Fighter: Battle-mage
    Mage/Cleric: Oracle
    Mage/Mage: Ascendant
    Mage/Summoner: Elementalist
    Mage/Bard: Siren
Mage/Rogue: Animator (gives blades telekinetically like a ranged melee class)
Mage/Ranger: Celestial (Magic bolts hurled at foes)
