Even though he / she is just describing the cold climate of where it comes from in Europe (and then himself / herself), it sounds straight out of a RPG to me. It seemed like his / her intention to write it that way.

Either way, I would've thought the Netherlands isn't that cold compared to the Scandinavian countries a little further north, but I don't live in Europe, so it's just my image.

Ouch that sounds just like where I'm from (rainy old Vancouver)!  I guess the rain is a good excuse to game on our days off though.

Yez roleplay . Iz nice.

I am from Friesland within the Netherlands. For some dutch that is the far far away North .. cold... .... We have our own (official) Langauge, culture and flag. And no those are NOT hearts on our flag ....

I know Noord Holland pretty well. I spent quite a bit of time there around Alkmaar. I really enjoyed it... except for the winters

hehe. once there was this great nation. Magna Frisia with a king Redbad (yes Readbeard!) that ruled the coastal area's from Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and parts of Denmark. West Friesland is in North Holland, Ost-Friesland is in Germany,

Friesian Horse was even part of Roman empire army that invaded England.
Now the Friesian Cow is world famous.
