  • Depends on the time of year for me.~
I head south for the summer and north for the rest of the year. (So much for escaping the weather.) All the same, I can be found along the United States' eastern coast.

(I've also been to a lot of the places - or countries/states rather - that have been listed on this thread so far.)

Clearly the answer to that riddle is Texas.
If ToKev is referring to the oldest European city in the U.S., that's St. Augustine, FL.
I think tugowar is razzing me a little. Although if he is from Texas himself thats probably the only geography he/she knows. Thats all Texans know is Texas Texas Texas. Gets a little old eventually. But yes @Possum is correct.
  • ^ wondering where the rest of my comment went.  :|
  • @ToKev, You may have had another tab opened and it displayed your "draft" which was saved before you completed your comment. This happened to me before and I had to edit to fill it in again

I lived in FL for a year an a half when my mother was dying, cause she wanted to go back to where her family was to die.  All I can say is, the humidity was awful, nothing worse than taking a bath, walking out to the truck and feeling like you need another bath already.  The white sand roads got sand in everything, and the mesquitos were so big they could stand flat footed and screw a turkey.  Was so happy to get back to TX, lol.  But FL did have a couple of good points,

I am an American, a military veteran and I love my country.  BUT, I also LOVED living in Japan and Germany and would happily live in either one again.
