Abilities in weather

Hi guys,
I know that ashes have different landscapes (like frozen lakes) depending on what seasons, but will abilities differ as well? For example will frost magic be stronger during winter and weaker during summer.

  • It has been mentioned in streams that weather may influence your skills slightly. I think they used the example of mage with rain - perhaps might make fire less effective.
However I think it's still under discussion and we'll learn more down the line ^^
  • Thanks, I am really excited for this game

    Me too companion!
Since you're here I'll ramble on a little more about the environment which I think is pretty awesome xD
There are also discussing the possibility of different terrains giving your freeholds extra bonuses! So depending on your artisian desires  where you locate your freehold might be very important! Example - if your doing agriculture or farming on your freehold you may have an advantage if you place your freehold next to a river! :3

  • I like this ^~^ idea
  • and winter makes me invincible :naughty:
  • I would like to see a system that allows players to change the local weather based on magic.

  • it will surely be amazing if weather affect the abilities and stats, for exemple in winter player needs warm clothes or they will suffer from slowness and a little amount of damage, also abilities may be weaker or stronger for exemple electric skill will be more powerful under rain, fire skills may melt ice on frozen lakes ,etc
