  • Thanks a lot! That one was an insidious, evil bug indeed.
  • Oh that's great news
  • Seem to also be able to see signitures on mobile devices now too, but I can't seem to find how to get to settings using the mobile site
  • It wasn't fixed for my existing post, curious if it only works with new posts.
  • @Yaviey It's still broken :(

@Herdo it looks like the images in your signature have a bad URL causing them to show as broken right now.
  • Fantastic!
Now I just need to figure out what I wanna write in there....

@lexmax I removed the hyperlink from the first image - it displays fine.
So the URL is probably fine ;)

@Yaviey @lexmax The URL of the hyperlink doesn't show up as the one entered in the signature settings:

    Settings:
    <a rel="nofollow" href="https://ashesofcreation.gamepedia.com/Ashes_of_Creation_Wiki"><img alt="" src="http://i.imgur.com/fertHTe.png"></a>
    Live:
    <a rel="nofollow" href="/home/leaving?target=https%3A%2F%2Fashesofcreation.gamepedia.com%2FAshes_of_Creation_Wiki" class="Popup"><img alt="" src="/home/leaving?target=http%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FfertHTe.png" class="Popup" /></a>

  • It's a good thing that issues get fixed. Keep up the good work.

@Yaviey I tried both https and http links - there's no difference. :(
Also - when posting a link direktly (Insert -> Link) and you only provide the link text, rather than a display text for the link, the weird format is shown:
    /home/leaving?target=https%3A%2F%2Fashesofcreation.gamepedia.com%2FAshes_of_Creation_Wiki

  • is there a turtorial somewhere on how to add a signature?
  • I will gladly help you set your signature, if I can.

Do you like to use an image, or add some text as well? I'm not sure if the issues related to adding text are resolved; if you aim for a pic only, I think I can help you.
  • I also notice that links get striped and changed.
    link code before save
    target="_blank">C-Comms.com</a><a href='http://www.ccommss.com'

now after save get changed to
    <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.ccommss.com">C-Comms.com</a>

  • now work on auto shrinking of signatures / images :expressionless:

  • I've been having trouble with uploading this as a gif for my signature.

look at requirement and make sure the signature is same type and size then you won't get that error .
edit ( I did notice this error as I went back to edit my signature, but the signature is still working)

Super weird! Will definitely let the web team know and see if we can get it to not pop up that error message.
  • So wait a minute... Will I have to fix the problem myself by checking or will our community manager and web team save me?

I had a signature, but In trying to update it  it got erased. I was trying to replace it with a new one and I kept getting the "Images not allowed" error. I've tried both dragging the pic into the box and using a link from tinypic. Nothing works anymore.

Yaviey commented on this already, I think she's getting it fixed, I also did a post about it and I hope it's similar to what you're talking about.
I hope this will be resolved soon.
