Factions?
I have a question maybe I didn't see it but I think about "factions" not orcs and stuff , but something that will have impacts on cultural and infrastructure of every city.
Something like ow here we kill more people but we actualy all the time in war that's why so our castle and buildings will look more like a "bloody/dark" city with pikes and some adventages and disadvantages same for the more peacefull kingdoms for example: we have a good economy a lot of political and territorial alliances so our city will evolve into more sunny and peaceful city
and even hybrids like a justice node that fights a lot can be good and have great defense looking like cities (not only looking like trait of adv/disadv) what do you think about it ?
Ow ow ! Or even having like a corruption when if we have a more different play style or city ideologies we will need more time to "corrupt people" and do like rebellions or something in this way ?

But its not a bad idea at all
For the most part, the architecture will be based on the type of node: Economic, Scientific, Militaristic and/or Divine. And partly based on the styles of the race that founded the initial camp at the node.
We may have some appearance options -more ware-like or more peaceful- when we choose which buildings get built. The devs have not mentioned that as far as I know.
There will be skins for freeholds, so maybe we will be able to apply some skins to the infrastructure of our settlements. Again, the devs have not mentioned that.
