I have been dreaming of a day of when an mmo would make a fully customizable battlemage where I can choose what weapon to what type of magic I could use. Anyone have any thoughts about this?

    Intrepid has stated that all classes can use "most" weapons, if not all weapons, with varying degrees of success with said weapon. So, in theory, you could use whatever weapon your heart desires if you are willing to be "sub-optimal" (such as a mage running around with a spear, that would be just silly).
    As to the type of magic you use, we don't much info. I would be stoked if you can chose different genres of magic. What is your dream Battlemage?

    My dream battlemage huh. Plate wearing sword and shield in hands but also always has magic at the ready. Like personally I would like to be fighting with a sword and then being able to use some sort of close range spell. like I would want water magic so maybe like water bolt or being able to combined water and lighting to make a water lighting bolt. Kinda hard to explain my dream battlemage.
