Does anyone remember that first time they stayed up all night to just play an mmo wondering what could be around the next corner? I really hope aoc will bring that type of excitement. I really can't wait to see this game in action and spend all night playing this.

    I did this for the Black Desert Striker Release only to find out that the maintenance was extended by 2 hours till 2 am AEST and in the end I was too exhausted to even play xD

    I'm taking a week off when AoC launches, might even do the same for the alpha and beta phases. The feeling of an entirely new game with an unexplored world and brand new lore is amazing to look forward to.

    @Toudihage I hear you! When I first started playing WoW I fell asleep at the computer two or three times in the first week. Everything was exciting and terrifying because there wasn't any Wikis and Youtube playthroughs to fall back on. In the dynamic world of Ashes those days will hopefully return.

    First time I ever pulled an all nighter over a game, it was in Everquest. It was in the Qeynos Catacombs. I spent many, many sleepless nights in that game. 
    I have in others as well, but that one really started it for me.

    Yes, many nights in Lineage 2. Just the thought of how great Ashes will be has kept me up a few nights already, it's going to be real bad when I actually have a game to play.

    Well the first week or two it costs a lot of nights.... Just because ....

    And later on also... Oh we trained night after night in Guild Wars 2 to defeat the three headed Wurm world Boss. And we did. I am one of the 150 from Desolation server that managed to get it killed the first time, server world wide.... Those were nights well spend... the reward from chest was a bummer lol...

    I just did 3 20-on 4-off days when Agnarr launched on EQ to max level and raid last month.

    I used to do sleepless night back in the day on SWG when I didn't have to work the next day.  Doing instance runs with guildies to get tokens for jewelery sets.  since then I haven't cared enough to even contemplate it.  I hope Ashes changes all that lol.

    Ah the Qeynos Catacombs and Everquest.  I believe that's what started it for me. 
    I hope Ashes brings on that same intense feeling of awe and excitement to the game.

    It's 2AM and the forum still have its grips on me. I think the game itself will be the end of me.

    First time I did an actual all nighter I was awake for 32-34 hours total running on Irish coffee, was a fun night

    Can't wait to find some of y'all in game once it comes out. Then we can sit in a inn telling stories of our latest adventures of why we couldn't sleep lol.

    I have done it before, but I was in a PvP group that was way too much fun and that was well organized.  I kept telling myself just one more battle and then it is bed time or I will stay until a few more members join.  The group leaders had shifts and I only realized it was an all-nighter when the group leader changed back to the group leader I started with the previous day.  The funny thing is I tend not to be PvP focussed in my play, it was just a really fun night.

    I personally tend to go really hardcore during the release of an MMO. I've taken time off work and stayed up for hours and hours during the release of Aion, Archeage and Black Desert. I definitely plan on doing the same for Ashes. Luckily my "job" is amazing and I can take long periods of time off. 
    So here's to sleepless nights  :)

    Everyone if I would have the honor I would love to make a guild called sleepless knights. Think I should post something in guild recruitment?

    It should have an initial goal, I'd prepare a discord, ranking, if you're casual or not, or you could make a community hub called Sleepless Nights.
