A covenant veiled in secrecy, a brotherhood bound in mystery, and a lineage only spoken through the whispers of history.  It is a secret society who toils in the darkness of the shadows and decrees its will under a shroud of secrecy. Some may believe they are no more than assassins and brigands, a thieves guild of sorts. I would caution such foolish beliefs as they may vary well be far more grievous. They are diplomats and scholars, soldiers and tacticians, artisans and arcanists; they are everyone, but mysteriously no one. They are ghosts in the darkness. Silently they weave their web of influence and fulfill their will leaving no trace of involvement, but only in the mad man’s ramblings of conspiracies. I assure you the adherent of the Shadow Shroud are as methodical as they are tenacious and as lethal as they are undaunted.

Shadow Shroud  is a fraternal organization of game scholars and tacticians. It is a brotherhood of like-minded individuals who share a genuine passion for game progression and domination. We are a society of power gamers, elitists, theory crafters, math-a-magicians, and the contributing semi-casual…

Shadow Shroud, as the about states, is comprised of gamers who take gaming seriously. Those players who do not desire to be in an organization of the masses for the sheer pleasure of just having people around to play with, but rather to be in an organization of competent, skilled, and talented individuals who all desire to be at the top of their game.  All our players both individually and cooperatively research, plan, and practice regularly in order to improve proficiency as players and as an organization.

We are not a mass invite organization, we select potential adherents through our own process. We believe in due diligence during the recruitment process in order to mitigate potential detriment at some future point in time. As such we are not an overly large gaming organization. We value quality over quantity.

Here are some of the attributes we look for in a potential adherent:

  • Good character
  • Relatively non-abrasive personality
  • Availability
  • Skill/Talent
  • Ability to excel in a team oriented environment
  • Willingness to research and learn
  • Capacity to receive constructive criticism
  • Predisposition to help others
