Is there a counter displayed anywhere on the website showing how many Summer Backers there are?

    All I *think* I can tell is that there's still less than 1000 since that goal isn't checked off.  For all the discussion about how many people that wanted back the game but couldn't because of Kickstarter's limited allowable payment methods I expected an explosion of backers........

    On Kickstarter they were not always immediate with their "check offs" of each item so who knows but your logic is sound.

    My guess is they are working on getting the kickstarter info plugged in, we might get updates after that. Seems like an obvious oversight, but stuff happens.

    We will see. 
    I'm sure the IS store has less exposure than KS.
    Plus KS had the livestreams to keep up the hype and inspire people to back.

    Remember this. Most people that know this game and wanted to contribute have already done so before. This is the reason why we might see low count backers buying this summer deal. Do not worry, new people will come in masses when beta phases start. Happens to every game.

    Every time I look at that page I want to upgrade my backing. I think I have got the right one though just got to wait.

    Rofl....so all the angst about the "70 percent of the playerbase who want to pledge but can't" seems to have died out. 4-5 days after release of June backing the counter is sitting at 306. 20000 backers on KS, and you had very vocal people screaming "Those in Europe didn't have the option to back!!!" "You MUST open this up to us and give us our lifetime subscriptions!!" Annnndddd......bang and whimper. Those that are waiting to upgrade their KS accounts once the accounts are synced, don't count, because they negate the whole argument for having the June backing in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I like that they gave everyone the option, and we got to see a small glimpse of how they will react to player created crisis, but seriously, where are these invading hordes of non-cc Paypal users that were going to ruin the exclusivity of my KS backing?

    The low numbers could partly be a side effect from the confusion surrounding the Summer Campaign. I've been following it closely and I'm still a little confused!

    I know various attempts have been made to try to clear this up, but I'd really like to see a special livestream Q&A on this topic; or at least an official video that takes into account the proposals and decisions that have been made since the previous announcement.

    Going to have a real chuckle if come August we start seeing threads in the vein of "I wasn't able to back in June because my cat died, there needs to be a September campaign." and "I only back projects from GoFundMe, why o' why wouldn't the developers have opened it up to the millions of people who would have pledged if they had opened it up to them." And the grandpappy of them all "IT ISN'T FAIR, I wanted to buy the lifetime subscription, but wasn't able to, so you MUST have another round of pledging!!!!!"

    Till it was pointed out that there was a separate store (summer campaign) I was still looking at the Kickstarter page and assuming they had sold out of the ones I wanted.

    June 26th:  372 and counting?  I would like to see it get to at least 1000 additional backers.

    Maybe Intrepid will pick back up with their Q & A streams in order to call additional attention to this extended backing period.

    As it is, it looks like all the moaning about all the people who wanted to get in on the KS but couldn't was waaaaaaaaaay overblown.

    It is nice that the KS folks have an opportunity to upgrade their packages if they want to........
