How many Asholds can I have?

Can I have a house in each town?

Comments

  • I had to reread this twice because I didn't know you could have another besides the one you were born with...
  • Yeah, I don't think anybody has more than one unless they've either been shot or had invasive surgery.......
  • Maybe he can find some more if he joins a guild.

You only can have a one house of each type. (freehold, apartment, in node)
  • A character can only be a citizen of one node.
  • What if I was born in one node but then my parents move me to another node?

Won't I have duel citizenship until the age of 14?

  • Not if the bone man finds you.
  • Opinions and Asholds...everyone has one.
  • Not sure I want to live in your Ashold

Marry someone then after 5-7 years of living in that node would give you citizenship, if you also complete the language test will be about the Node you're trying to get citizenship from if it's economy "How much money you got? What's your profession? Do you identify with yourself with the following terrorist organization?" maybe if it's scientific "How birds fly? Why chickens don't fly? Explain how evolution is real." if it's religious "Explain how evolution is not real". But of course if it's Military you're just gonna enroll it, no questionare or exam, fight for the Node!

Considering the amount of humor this thread has generated, I'm not sure if you were serious in your original post but if you were:

Players can own one of each type of housing (one freehold, one static node home, and one instanced apartment). I assume this means that you can own a home in 3 different nodes if you wanted. However, as dygz mentioned, you can only be citizen to 1 node at a time. Having a house in one of the nodes just gives you the option to apply for node citizenship.

This is what I was hoping. I'd like to live in town but also have a freehold out in the wild.
  • @sunfrog; Yeah, unless Steven changes his mind, you'll be able to do that.  What're you going to put on your distant freehold?

Btw I just realized we're sun comrades. High five froggy!
  • High 5!

Hmmm now its getting hot in the Ashold ......

Any downsides on having three different houses in three different area's?

Same as having three different houses in different parts of a country. Unless you travel a lot you won't get to enjoy them all. But renting them is always an upside.

Also that means you would need 3 different characters who are each citizens of a  different node of at least level 3 (when housing becomes available). So less time spent on main progression, more on alt spreading, less focus, less ability.

Edit. Unless of course you meant in the same node as "country". Then one freehold outside of town, one inside town, and one instanced apartment. The instanced stuff in node level 5 (?) so will be a good long while before possible.
