    Actually... I don't think it's just June backers. I think the KS accounts are adding to this count, hence the sudden jump in numbers (it's still climbing btw).

    It's most likely counting people redeeming their kickstarter. Whether it's an intentional thing or a glitch not I'm not sure.

    I think it's counting KS people buying upgrades, etc.
    Which should count as a backer of the Summer Campaign.
    If KS backer spends more money, that's legit; not a glitch.

    I don't think it's simply counting anyone who redeems their code but doesn't actually spend any money.
    But, I guess we will see.

    I would be happy, shocked, and amazed if it isn't. But very suspicious if not that. Counter sits at under 500 for days. And jumps a couple thousand within a couple hours of code redemption release?

    Nope. As yet ks backers are unable to upgrade as the emails containing that information have not yet come out. -the email sent today confirmed that they should be sent out next week.

    You can link your KS but cant upgrade until next week :)

    That is wild!
    By the time they get that all sorted, the Summer Campaign will be over!

    I hope that means they will be sending e-mails notifying us that the packages have been added to the site - in addition to other methods of notification, rather than we have to wait until you receive the second e-mail before you're able to purchase an upgrade.

    Dygz I understand where you're coming from, but they've kept us up to date with when they were going to be sending these ones out, and they say that the follow ups should be with us by next week.

    As the summer campaign has got another three weeks to go yet, I think we can let ourselves look on the bright side for once :)

    Feels like the counter counts redeemed packages. The spike happened when they sent out the kickstarter code emails. We've already unlocked the second goal and soon the third.

    So until they come out with an official stance probably middle of next week whether they are going to treat it as a glitch and roll back the counter, or double dip on pledge numbers and let it stand, don't get your hopes up.
