i think when you use the kick starter code and link account is also counting as a June backer .

This is definitely a coding error on their part. For some reason it is counting the people who activate their kickstarter codes. I am still holding out though that I am wrong because I really want the wand.

Ya, it's a mistake... the Kickstarter backers should not be counted in the total.

So, 2,000 - 2,500 is still realistic as far as any unlocks......
