Wow  that was an old black and white film!  The star was Humphrey Bogart Does anyone remember what a film is?  Or even black and white?

Puts up hand, films in the cinema were in color if they were made like that. Our TV's were B & W until 1975 when you could buy a new color TV for around $2000 if memory serves.

I just checked the facts on this film.  It was made in 1948 in black and white.

Also Westinghouse sold the first color TVs close to $1300 in 1954.
The first TV station was WRGB broadcast from the General Electric in Schenectady NY.

my name and e-mail start with d and there are several people who have names with letters passed due who joined the forums after I did but have their badge before I do.

So, it's not based solely on alphabet and time joined.

Which kind of takes me back to the metrics thread.
Especially when rewards are being handed out to others while you are waiting patiently - it's nice to be able to see some sort of pattern.
