Someone did mention a MC server once.
Hey yall,
There where some posts in the past talking about MC server related to AOC.
I could open if there is interest.
Server would have, at the start 1 mayor city where u can buy houses and shops that will be custom made.
Outside its free for all and you can build your own place. If it would reach a bigger state it could become a city and get worldguard protection.
So if anyone is intrested to help me create the first part of the game that will be.
-Main city including: shops, personal housing, etc etc.
-Some dungeons buildings, I will do the command blocks so its a actual dungeon spawning stuff. It wil also drop rare stuf on a %.
-Economy system, including lvl specific shops and shops in general.
-Level required zones/citys/dungeons
You can name it.
Just wondering around if people would like it or play on it.

The point of the server isn't just to play Minecraft, it's to provide an alternative medium for the community of Ashes to interact. That's why it's important to me that everyone can play with each other on the server. I haven't played Minecraft for a number of years but from what I remember, there were survival servers, creative servers, and specialised adventure servers - which I understand but I don't like the idea of splitting the community like that.
And so, the current plan is to have Artisans and Adventurers. Artisans would have a buff to crafting and resource gathering but would be very weak in combat. Adventurers would be strong and have a buff in combat-related skills, they would explore the world and it's dungeons in hope of looting treasures.
Within the zone of influence of a city, all players would play in survival, outside of the ZOI Adventurers would play in adventure mode and artisans in survival mode - artisans are weak and so will require the aid of Adventurers to travel and gather resources outside of their ZOI. Inside the city zone, if the city is at a high enough level, artisans would have access to creative mode and even worldedit to develop their own metropolis!
In order to level up a city, players must complete quests and contribute resources to the city.
Like I said earlier, this server isn't just for Minecraft players but for the community, we require the help of writers to create stories and quests that could be related to the ashes universe if you wish! Not only writers; artists, musicians, programmers, and anything else that you can think of that would add to the server and it's community!
