Hi all! I go by Jon or Fixxion (pronounced Fission, my character name was taken on a recent MMORPG that I decided to play so I threw in some X's and stuck with it, haha). I am 26 and playing from Trinidad and Tobago out in the Caribbean. I'm really excited to see how this game develops. I've been playing MMORPG games for about 10 years now and I've played through quite a few and left unable to really stick with one and give it my all which is my ultimate desire.
Ashes of Creation seems to call to me on so many levels of what I find appealing and what I want to be involved and immersed in. Just hearing about plans for the open world and economy and a changing weather system(!!!) has me pretty excited to see the game develop even more and grow as more people join the community. My biggest hope at the end of the day is that Caribbean players aren't region locked out of the Americas (if there is going to be one?Looking at you Black Desert) especially seeing as North America is the only country we are able to play with decent ping.
Other than that, I would love to support this game and I am so excited for what it has to offer. Watching the Q&A I get the sense that the devs are very much in touch with the strife of the MMORPG community and as long as communication between them and the community stays fluid, I feel like I can put my faith into this project. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next!
